The biggest highlight of the past three days however was that one of our investigators FINALLY came to church for the first time!!! She is 10 and every week she says she is going to come with her family (who are recent converts) but she never came. We worked really hard on her this week and she loved it! YES!
I was also able to go to the baptism of an old investigator on Sunday. It was so good to see everyone again. I even said "hi" to Alesa Pettit through skype! Jorge's dad (Jorge was the one getting baptized) and I are good friends, he is an old guy that is a super good artist. So I made a picture for Jorge and his dad of the DC Temple. I did it in a few hours, so its not my best.
Sorry again for the short email, but there is work to be done!
Love you all,
(Here are pics from the zoo, and the unfinished DC Temple I made.)
Although Ashley's emails are getting shorter and shorter, I have ways to get a few more details and more photos. One of Ashley's past companions, Hermana Pettit, who is home now, was able to Skype in on Jorge's baptism since she was one of his missionaries too. She sent me some awesome photos from the baptism and even a short video of Ashley. Mom's love that!! I also got a cute photo from Hermana Rasmussen's mom, of the two girls today at the zoo.
