Great Companions! Hermanas Pettit and Peabody!
Hermana Peabody and Elder Vander Veur (both from Park City!)
WOW, seriously, Christmas in the mission is the best! Not a lot of teaching got done, but other amazing miracles happened!
As always, here are the highlights... So, first of all, cray story! We were at the visitors center (like usual) when I saw an Elder I know from my home stake! He is serving in the Baltimore, Maryland mission. So it was a little awkward because it was crammed packed in there, so I kind of pushed my way through the crowed/chased him down to say hi. Worth it though.
Next is Christmas Eve. Oh my gosh, it was SO FUN! We got to sing as a mission choir at the visitors center. We spent most of the day at the visitors center practicing. We also got a Spanish Program photo at the temple, which is like impossible. The concert went super well, a bunch of our members came to support us and even though I just mouthed some of those high notes, we sounded pretty good.
CHRISTMAS! It was a blast! Hna Pettit and I woke up and opened all our gifts, and we got some pretty great stuff. The members that work at Chick-fil-a gave us calendars that come with a special gift card that lets us get one free thing at Chick-fil-a each month! Then we had breakfast with all the sisters in our zone and we acted out the Nativity. Later we went over to the Ramos's house (my favorite) to skype. It was a great day!
Christmas miracles... We have been able to have amazing lessons with members and getting our investigators integrated into the Ward. Katherinne and her brothers now have standing permission to go to church every week! Christmas is over so now we will be able to have more lessons! And all around, good things are happening.
Today we had a zone activity. We had a white elephant gift exchange and then a zombie nerd gun war, so that was pretty fun.
¡FELIZ NAVIDAD Y PRÓSPERO AÑO!

Its was so great to Skype with Ashley and see and hear her on Christmas Day! We loved all the photos we got too. I love how Ashley is just so happy! Makes it so fun to be a missionary mom!
