Well, Ashley has been so BUSY--which is great, but it also means we don't get much in the way of detailed emails.
Ashley didn't send out a "group email" this week (again,) but in a few short emails to mom, said she and her two companions have had some wonderful experiences with different investigators. Next week, six of her close friends, including both her current companions, will be returning home, so they have been busy with getting ready to go home. Although Ashley will be sad to see her friends go home, she will get to meet five new incoming missionaries, and train one of them as her new companion. Ashley will train this companion for the next 12 weeks--and then ASHLEY COMES HOME!!! WOW--THIS MISSION SEEMED, EVEN TO MOM, TO GO SO FAST!
One special event that Ashley got to be a part of this week, was that her old MTC companion, Hermana Evans, returned with her family to visit the mission. Ashley got to have dinner twice with Hermana Evans! This is also how I got photos this week--THANK YOU EVANS FAMILY!!!
Hopefully a few more photos and details next week, but I can't promise anything. Although I would love as many details on her weeks as possible, I'm actually (somewhat) okay with her lack of emails because that means she is working hard, right up to the end! Ashley will finish strong and be able to say she gave her best to the Lord and to the Spanish community of Northern Virginia!
