So quick Spanish lesson... Grua = tow truck!
Yep, Monday night we were at a members house helping her do family history and getting her mother's name ready so she could do her temple work, when The Grua got us!! We were not very happy. Hna Pettit and I almost made it our whole missions without being towed. It happens a lot in Virginia (shout out to hna DeBry).
Tuesday we took our investigator Katherine, and her family to the Temple visitor's center, and they loved it! We also were able to finally put her on date for baptism--her mom finally gave her permission!!
After we got back from the temple we got our transfer calls and Hna Pettit and I were freaking out! I thought I was going to be transferred, but I really didn't want to leave my area for Christmas. We opened up transfers while taking a young woman home from a lesson and she must have thought we were crazy! Seriously the stress level of opening transfers is equal to opening your mission call! Fortunately Hna Pettit and I are staying together!! I will be in Spring Lake for 5 transfers, and that is pretty impressive.
Wednesday we played Jeopardy as a district and helped with a huge Stake coat and blanket drive. Thursday was transfer day and we found out that Hna Mugleston and Riddle are our STLs!!! I am soooo excited! They are my favorite, so we are going to have the best exchanges ever! Sunday we went to the Visitor's Center again, and my old investigators, Ana and Sharon, were there! They are getting baptized this Saturday, and I am so happy for them!
This week has been a week of lots of meetings and less teaching. We are getting ready for our Christmas Eve performance. It is going to be amazing!
I love the holidays as a missionary! Lots of Christmas miracles this week, and more to come!
(PS it is WAY TO HOT to be December here!!)

Mama loving all the photos this week! I Love the DC Temple and that Ashley gets to be there during Christmas time! Love that she gets to sing on Christmas Eve--something I got to to many years ago as a girl. Ashley is seeing some fruits of her labors--baptisms coming up! I also can't wait to see and hear her voice on Christmas Day with a Skype conversation! For those who don't know, we only get emails once a week from missionaries, and only get to talk on the phone or Skype on Mother's Day and Christmas Day--Can't Wait!!
