Wow, it's FINALLY Pday!
We pushed our Pday to Wednesday so we could go to the temple, BUT before I talk about how awesome the temple was I also have to say that I was transferred!!! Unfortunately I only got one more transfer in Sudley and only one transfer with Hermanas Christensen and Garcia. Now I'm in the Little River Ward, in another trio with Hermanas Atkinson and Riddle AGAIN!! Fortunately, this way I will at least be able to know the area a little bit so I don't have to white wash train next transfer. Yikes!!
Little River is great so far. There are lots of great members and we have some pretty solid investigators. Oh!! Our apartment is sooo nice, and has such a great gym. The only thing is that we don't live in our area.
Yesterday was International Pancake Day, so we went to IHOP (fuimos a IHOP) and got free pancakes!
The temple was so great, probably one of the most fun temple trips I have had. I got to go with Hermanas Riddle and Mugleston. When we got there, there were so many other missionaries from the visitors center there because it was their temple day too, so I got to see all my friends from the visitors center! Also, the temple worker that asked for my clothing sizes was so funny and from Bolivia, so I talked (to her) in Spanish. There were also deaf people in the session we went to, so we got to see it in sign language too! Great day!
Crazy changes have been happening, and time seems like it is flying by WAY TOO FAST!! I am so excited what my last three transfers have in store for me!
Sorry, I can't really remember anything else that happened this week.
Until Monday,
Hermana Peabody
Ashley loves the people in her new area. She is also there with some of the Elders from a past area, who Ashley said are "so funny." Makes the work both beneficial and FUN!
As all us Mom's speculated, Ashley was the only Hermana transferred this past transfer. Six of her best friends will be leaving for home in six short weeks--the next transfer, and five new Hermanas will come to be trained. All five of the remaining Hermanas will be training, so Ashley is glad to learn about her new area, before she has to train there. The only downside, is that Ashley may never get to visit the direct area of Great Falls, where I grew up as a girl. She wishes she could stay and extra week after her mission ends, just to say goodbye to everyone and do some "touristy" things. Guess we will all have to go back together!!!
Ashley's mission is coming to an end quickly, but she will make great use of her remaining time and still has lots of great experiences to gain!
It's so great to have a missionary out and serving the Lord, and this past week, we got some great news from our next daughter Courtney, who has decided that she too will serve a mission when she turns 19! LOVE IT!!!!
